Dork Tower, Friday, July 25
Here's Friday's Dork Tower:

The problems with the website remain. On the plus side, it's sped up work on the new, improved website. Either the current site will be fixed, or the new design up and running, soon. Fingers crossed

Until then, please look for new cartoons on any of the following:

My LiveJournal Page

My MySpace Page

My Blogspot blog (C'mon! Who's gonna be the first person to comment over at the new Blogspot mirror site?)

****

Finishing up Munchkin Quest II this weekend. So, yay!I may even get a chance to continue cleaning and reorganizing the office, afterwards.

****

EDIT: I had no idea so many people didn't realize Dork Tower Miniatures existed. They do, and are awesome, produced by Steve Jackson Games and sculpted by legendary designer Tom Meier. They can be found at Warehouse 23, or ordered directly from your Friendly Neighborhood Games or Comics Store.

Hey, are you making a dig at The Irregular Webcomic?

Tread lightly, Mr. Kovalic!

(The above is to be taken as about 2/3 sarcasm...just in case you were, you know, like, worried or anything...)

Indeed, they exist, they are shiny and come in right handy when you need some cool, if not very thematically accurate mini's. Like say when your GURPS players turn a simple recruitment op into a full scale battle in a bar with reinforcements you hadn't planned on being needed popping up to save the PC's bacon. Hmmm and with MQ out soonish like they'd be a natural for that as well.

Hey John, how about an impromptu contest? Or even just give the fans a chance to show off their mad skillz with brush and paint. Paint up a set of DT mini's, send you a pic and whether or not there's swag involved folks will still be able to ooh and aahh over them. Plus of course the endless opportunities for the obligatory round of jokes involving readers showing you their dorks ;) .

Just a thought, because y'know, you've got all manner of free time to sort thru thousands of pics sent in by legions of fans.

Running away now

My SCA friends are bummed that Munchkin Quest didn't quite come out in time for themn to bring it to Pennsic.

They will be pleased to hear there's an MQ II on the way.

I was not aware of DT mini-s either, although the one for Ken fits well with the comic.

Also, commentless blogs do exists (my LJ being one).

Pardon my irreverence here, but the mini of Ken makes me think so much of the Muppet's Dr. Bunsen Honeydew!

Does anyone remember the art in Cyberpunk v3? It was those foot tall action figures like in Robot Chicken. (I give them a B for originality and an D- for execution.)

No, wait, they are! I have the painted and use them in my signed copy of the Dork Tower game!

Looks like I need to touch up Ken though, as his nose has chipped!

Huzzah!
